Blower Motor Switch Replacement 1987 190E

I need suggestions on how to replace the blower motor switch on my 1987 190 E. The old one is stuck on low and I need lots of air circulation in this hot Texas weather.

The wood trim must come off first. Then the a/c controller. At that point you can get the blower switch out thru the a/c controller opening
