Help please... keyless entry problem.

Hey guys, after I took my car to a shop ( they replaced ignition switch, and vacum pump for central locking system) my keyless entry key wont unlock or lock the doors with the remote, but does manually.

I'm thinking it needs to be re-programed or re-synced?

I tried the pointing the key at the door handle and holding it down and then unlocking the door, nothing worked. Then tried putting the key in the number 2 position and starting it after hitting the unlock button.

Can anyone give me some advice?

It's a 92 sel 600. Thanks.

I read the manual for the car online. And the procedure does not work. I did about 4 or 5 different techniques that I read online and they did not work.

I called the mercedes dealership and they said it sounds like it's coming from a leak in the vacum pump or the line. If this is the case I WILL BE PISSED. For some reason I have a feeling this might be it, since this is my luck and I just had the pump replaced at a shop not even 2 days ago.

Im still hoping that someone responds and tells me a way to re-sync the key or if it could be a certain number fuse problem? I'm stressing out so much about this.
