Question Front fender blinkers, yes or no? Help me decide

On vacation some time ago, at a Mercedes Benz dealer in Hyvinkaa, Finland, (north of Helsinki) I picked up a pair of front fender blinkers, for the 560SEC.

Here's what they would look like on the car:
http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/attachment.php?attachmentid=1521&d=1150979225

These were mandatory equipment for all W126 vehicles in the UK, and also, I believe in Norway and several other countries, so it's not a radical modification.

Mercedes Benz Part No. A 124 820 04 21 "Blinkleuchte" (blinker lamp)

They are in Euro (dark) orange, will wire up easily, and they blink in unison with the left and right turn signals.

My car already has dark orange euro blinkers, with euro lights, so they would look integrated with the car.

The exterior paint color is pearl black.

Possible visibility or safety enhancement?.....

But the fender would needed to be cut for the install, later rust danger?....

Aesthetically, is it a plus or a minus for this car in this color?

(The same issue would apply to all American W124 cars, too)......

Any and all opinions and comment are welcome. What should I do, install or forget them?

Thanks!!!!
