I live in the Netherlands and overhere it is very common that people who drive a company C class or drive a C class as a cab/taxi disconnect the plug under the hood that comes from the left front wheel. When this (ABS)plug is disconnected, the car doesn't add any miles anymore (doesn't display speed either and the ABS doesn't function anymore).
The taxes that have to be paid in the Netherlands on a company car are very high and therefore some peolpe drive around with a disconnected plug a lot during private use...NO PROBLEM
