85 ,560 sel euro edition, trans shift problem

hi guys,
i have a problem with trans shifting from 2nd to 3rd. it hesitates for a second or two then bangs into 3rd , goes into 4th fine. problem shows up mostley when warm , any ideas ? thanks mike d
