K-1 installed in '94 E320= SMILES

I have been working on our '94 E320 wagon for my wife. It only has 115,000mi but the head gasket was seeping. I just replaced it. It also had a small trans flair between 2nd and 3rd shift. I found out about the K-1 valve on this site and it works GREAT. It eliminated the flair. I also firmed up the shifting by adjusting the modulator.
This car is a ROCKET!
The pics of the K-1 install showed a large plastic plug to remove to access the piston. Mine had a small, square plate that was secured by 4 small screws. Everything else was the same inside.
I strongly recommend this mod to the transmissions, I think that by NOT letting them slip so much between shifts (done for smooth shifts) that the trans will last longer and heat up less.

Thanks for the tip on this mod! Chris
