Wheel Seal/ Which Way??
87 560 sel w126
replacing front bearings and like an idiot took both seals and bearing both wheels out at same time. Which side of the seal goes towar the rotor, the solid side or the cupped side?? Thanks john |

Look at a seal this way, the tapered side never goes to the area that you want anything to escape from. Therfore grease wants to go from the bearing to the ouside you dont want it to do so.
