W210 E320 '96, Throttle Problem
Hi everybody... i just am going through a mysterious problem ... MY RPM dives slightly towards 0 as i throttle.... and comes back again immediately... as if there is a delay in throttle response...
Things i've already done are: 1. Changed MAF 2. Changed Fuel Pump, Filter 3. Got injectors cleaned 4. CPS changed 5. Camshaft magnet cleaned re installed 6. Chevron in the fuel 7. Spark plugs changed, coils, wires checked 8. etc. etc. etc. Dont get anything on the Dyno... Could it be the Throttel Positioning Sensor (i believe its on the side of the actuator) can it be replaced or the whole actuator has to be replaced? I dont think there is a Accelarator Position Sensor in E320 ... 1996...?? |

Same exact problem!
Where you able to get a diagnosis and fix the problem with the hesitation under throttle problem you had? Thanks!

Car back to normal again!
Looks like my car had the wrong type of plugs in them. (platinum) After replacing with a new set of the correct plugs, the hesitation under load is now gone! The wrong plugs did work for 28K miles before this problem occured. Lesson learned!
