Now that Dexron-III is out, what are you using in your 126 transmissions?
Not interested at all in anything synthetic.

I'm using Dex/Merc III which I can readily find @ all my Mcparts stores...or, if you are Really concerned you can always go w/ the Febi stuff.
Synthetic is always an option as well, be it M1, Amsoil etc, etc.. Jonathan

Quote:
Dex/Merc III is no longer available in my area. Febi is way over-priced + hard to find locally and as I eluded to in my opening post, synthetic is not an option for me.

The patent/licensing for Dexron-II has expired and is no longer available under that labeling. If you have access to it, I suspect your local retailer still has a stash, similar to the Bosch H9DC/H9DC0 situation.
Dexron IV/V/VI are available now and there are all sorts of opinions as to which one of these replaces Dexron-III.

GM stopped issuing the liscence however the product is still avalible like along the lines of the Supertech and Chevron versions called MD3.
Same stuff. BTW,Dexron IV is out now and you can use it in Dex III applications. |

But you asked about III, not II. III is still widely available.
