How do I find out exactly what model and stuff my car is? Its a 1984 euro manual 300d. Vin is WDB1231301A173094.

I want to get an official MB shop manual for it if possible. This russian site said a bunch of numbers for the chasis and stuff but it ALSO said 'aprox. year: 1980' so I'm thinking the rest of it is "aproximate" too, not really good enough.

This site give you a bit of info...usually provides lots more data.
