i cannot tell you where you would find the best price... but if you are looking for help here you will probably help your cause if you provide a little more information (i.e. year, model, etc). i would recommend you check this site. if you scroll to the top and click on buy parts, you can shop here. phil would probably be happy to help you.

Wouldn't it be great if it were just the o-rings that were leaking, and not the EHA? (there's a hint in there somewhere)

92 300E 2.6 ??

Mr. Lucky,

First, you should tell us what kind of car you have.

Second, you are not getting many responses because this part has become HARD to get.

Third, I did your homework for you and found an EHA at this link:Bosch 3.437.010.040

brewtoo ...Hey Guys sorry I should of gave the spacifics...But I was a little upset because I called Maxiumn Auto parts before I ask on here and seen the one for $152.00 But for some darn reason When I gave them the part number they would give me the price of $317.00. I told them that the part is advertized for 152.00 but they said "where did you find it for that price" I told them and sent them the add, they hesatated for a second and said "sorry we only can sell it for 317.00."...I have a 92 300E 2.6 or its my wifes car, And as you see it is still listed at 152.00 this is a crock. so that is why I was a little quick in asking so again sorry fellas.

Some times it takes a little patients, some one will usually get back to you. As Larry said, look behind the EHA. I might add do a search on that unit and check the electrical properties, If they are good then fix the other problem.

i have experienced the same thing you are talking about with different prices on the web site from when you call them. if after checking everything out you find you actually need the part, go directly to the website and order it. i'm willing to bet you will get it for the cheaper rate and not have to talk to a person to get it.

I have been smelling gas so I checked it out and seen that the EHA was weeping...now it could be the O-rings but One so called Benz mecanic from the Portland Oregon Area told me that the O-rings normally dont leak , now this could be so I can cough up darn near 400.00 dead preasident from a mercedes dealer, but I will replace the O-rings then go from there.

Yes that the ticket, now the side of the eha that is (the o-ring) side.also has a brass screw in it,under that screw is an Allen screw, that is what you turn to get the correct electrical settings, after you have done your search and learned how to build the harness to check the electrical values of the eha,one word of advise the Allen screw has no tension on it if you need to change its position, blow the fuel out of the hole and look in side so you can set the wrench into the screw with out turning it, It is very sensitive and only need to be move at 1/8th turns.

Yes, I thought that $152 price was too good to be true. It's way below everyone else so surely it is an error.

There is a used one on ebay for $45, I believe.

Or, you can support this forum by clicking on the Buy Parts button at the top of this page and buying it from FastLane.

You might get lucky and have the o-rings fix the problem, but don't count on it.

I listed the used EHA on ebay. It is the last one I have and is good with no leaks. I had five of them and they are moving fast.

I think this is the only used EHA left on ebay.
