Hi

On the 96 c280 the part number for the transmission mount shows 202 240 04 18. However the mount with this number does not appear to be available.

Another part # for the mount that was used starting MY97 shows as 220 240 01 18 but the attachment to the transmission is at an angle with this mount.

Does the 97 transmission mount with the angle supersede the 96 mount and can be used on the 96 C280?

Martin, the 202-240-04-18 is the ONLY correct number for your car.

The original mount was either BOGE or Phoenix.. good hunting.

Thanks for the clarification.

For some reason lots of suppliers are showing the 97 transmission mount as the part for the 96. Glad I checked with the forum.
