repair A/C condenser?
The A/C condenser on a friends 2000 E320 has a stone nick that leaks. Can this be repaired? Or should a new condenser be fitted?

Replace
I have seen an epoxy based repair meterial and have also seen someone MIG weld it but cost of weld job is = to replacement and epoxy is like shooting craps with the house dice.

Is the part that is leaking aluminum or copper? If copper, use lead based solder to fill the leak, if aluminum there is a solder for that as well. However it requires an air/acetlyene torch to heat it up. Probably you would have to remove it in either case.
MIG is too hot and epoxy won't hold.

Not sure if it will fit your car, but I have a like-new W210 condenser from a 1997 E320 for sale in the "For Sale" section...
