ac drier clk320

when replacing compressor is it also necessary to replace the drier.or is recommemed.

MB work instructions require drier replacement any time the system is opened, but we all know that not everyone follows instructions!!! Before you proceed, you should find out if you'll void the warranty on the new compressor if you choose not to replace the drier.

Why are you replacing the compressor? If it's damaged internally, you'd be crazy not to replace the drier, as well as some other parts.

Always, always, always replace the drier.
