E420 Fuel Pump - No Power, Why?

I hope someone can help. I have a '97 E420 that was involved in a front fender bender. The body has been fixed and now I'm working on the wiring under the hood.

Here's the issue: when I try to start the car... she'll crank... but she won't turn over. She's not getting any power to the fuel pump.

I've read that there's a relay under the back seat... but there's NOT one on my car. The back seat only has the regular fuses and all of them are good.

Any ideas on why she won't turn over and run? Where's the relay or fuse on a '97 E420??

Could the "no power to the fuel pump" be related to an EIS issue?

I appreciate any and all help!!
Thanks!!

Im not sure on that model but try looking in the spare tire area for a green relay with a fuse on top. i know in some of the C class the fuel pump relay was located there. I remember on a 210 Chassis E420 a fuel pump relay under the back seat. I believe the color was pink. Hope this helps.

No Power To Fuel Pump...

I would have to venture on a new idea. I had a similar issue with my 1992 300SE and it turned out to be a relay with the alarm system that went bad. When the alarm is activated, all power is cut off to the fuel pump. If you try to start the car, it will simply turn over, but not start.

Also, try disconnecting and re-connecting the battery. That worked for me initially before the relay went bad all together.

I hope this helps!
