HELP! Top removal latches on 380 SL...
 

I hope someone can help...I am a new owner of a 380 SL and the "well" where the soft top comes OUT of will not open on the passenger side!:confused:

The second "latch" or handle (metal) seems to not do anything. The larger, window type handle releases the driver side only.

Also, I am trying to AVOID the MB dealer here in North San Diego (have heard horrible things) so if anyone knows where I can take it for this problem I'd be greatly appreciative!!!
