I hope someone can help...I am a new owner of a 380 SL and the "well" where the soft top comes OUT of will not open on the passenger side!

The second "latch" or handle (metal) seems to not do anything. The larger, window type handle releases the driver side only.

Also, I am trying to AVOID the MB dealer here in North San Diego (have heard horrible things) so if anyone knows where I can take it for this problem I'd be greatly appreciative!!!
