98 C230 = 38 Pin Diag. Location
Does anyone know where the 38 pin diag. port is located on a 1998 C230?
This is also referred to as the CAN post I believe. Thanks!!

Hi,
Under the hood, just in front of the passenger (on US models anyway) there is a plastic box that I think has a sticker saying the battery is in the trunk. Anyway, there is a little cover you can remove there and the big round connector is under that. What are you going to connect onto it? Mike

I purchased an SRS/airbag reset tool. The SRS light came on couple years ago after changing the battery
