Need help with temp sensor ID

1984 500SEC.

I have two sensors located at the rear of the intake manifold. Driver side has a single pole, having something to do with the cold start valve. Passenger side sensor has two poles. Has to do with CIS. Rusty's,Phil, Drivewire, and Performance Parts are now listing this part for $20 to $63.

All the sensors/switches on the engine have been replaced except these two. Just got a Simpson 260 multimeter. Soon as I learn how to use it, and where to look for the ohm values for these sensors, I will decide to replace these too.

Performance Products catalog lists this two pole temp sensor location as the left rear. Isn't the left rear of the engine the drivers side? I have single pole sensor there. My twin pole temp sensor is on the passenger side. Again, there is a single pole on the drivers side.

The color of the material around the two pole sensor appears to be white. But order catalogs refers to this sensor as having green.

Markings on the sensor's sides are VDO,France,06/84,42/34 degrees C,250 m A, and 62/1/7..I apologize for earlier inputting incorrect information.

I pulled an identical sensor from a similar engine(a 500) I found in a car at the junk yard. It too was on the passenger side.

Are all the parts suppliers that have the CIS temp sensor listed list it's position in the intake manifold incorrectly?

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Ok I figured them out. For those interested on this vehicle 1984 500SEC the two sensors on the back of the engine in the intake are (driver side) single pole 21/37 degree C AC lockout sensor.
(Passenger side) two pole 34/42 degree C idle control RPM regulator sensor.
