S500 Suspension

Just an FYI my S500 with 125K was bouncing up and down like a
'clown car' in the rear. At first thought it was shocks, and I couldn't find anything out about this symptom on-line or in a book. An old Mercedes mechanic told me to replace the accumulators and now the car rides
like it is brand new, the shocks and pump and valve were OK.
