Steering box replacement/alignment?

Hello all, about to replace the steering box in my 190e 2.6 with a box from a sportline (less turns lock to lock). Will I need to get an alignment afterwards?

I dont think you will need an alignment as long as the steer box was in good condition and has no slack in it you should be fine. If I were you and it has not been done, I would get a kit to renew the idle arm bushing while you are doing the job. Easy job and makes a lot of difference when renewed. Cheap bushing kit, $20-$30 and less than a 40 min job
