91 300se ignition key tumbler is stuck!

91 300se W126 ignition key tumbler is stuck....ignition lock/tumbler was kinda feeling crunchy as of last week or so...but will not trun at all now...wheel is locked...tried truning the wheel trick...no luck....key goes in and out of the ignition but will not turn at all...what should i do next???

please help!?

Just contact the dealer for new tumbler and keys per your VIN.

how do I remove the broken tumbler out?? can the tumbler be removed with the steering locked??

thanks for the helpful info guys

I tried...2nd key...jiggling....vibration...cursing....praying.....no luck....tumbler is still stuck in position 0, shifter is stuck in P.... I think im toast...=(

should I start drilling the stuck tumbler??

Have you got another key to try. I had a problem with my key sometimes not turning the ignition tumbler and tried a different key and that was the problem with mine anyway....just a thought....
