My E430 has had a rough idle, which was getting a bit worse. I had codes for the front O2 sensors (sensors 'aging' code) so I replaced them and that helped quite a bit. Still a bit of a roughness though and I am suspecting the mounts as they are likely original (and 144,000 Km on the car). So I will probably be changing them soon...mileage and performance are fine otherwise.
I have not checked the mounts no. When shifting from park to reverse, yes because the rpm's drop. The lower the rpms, the harder it shakes.

The engine sounds like a tractor some days too...This whole issue isn't just mounts. The engine doesn't sound happy either. Its not smooth and you can hear the engine pick up.

EDIT: Oh just forgot I made a video a few weeks back. Take a watch and you can see the car is fine running.

This was prior to the O2 sensor and EHA swap (which gave me better acceleration...in the video it was very sluggish).
