Thank you for this quick reply.
Is it really for AIR temp? because the value is very similar to the one at 20C for the coolant temperature. Is it a PTC or a NTC?

G'afternoon all,
I have the sensor as well and wondering what does it affect? Also how can we clean it ? As it seems to be black with soot... Thanks in advance. My harness for this sensor is broken and I have proceed to use splicing tape to cover it back. Enjoy!

and if its open circuit ? i cannot measure any resistance. hm i read about IAT moding and so on,
i would like to set a resistor with some value of ohms, and leave the old sensor in the intake hole. Main question for me is what kind of resistor should i buy ? my merc is W210 E250D-turbo 1998' 110kW no MAF sensor, feels like there is something wrong with diesel/air mixturing.. |
