OBDII tool

Does anyone know if someone in the CA Central Valley or the Bay Area has the OBDII code reader I could borrow or rent? Thanks.

Autozone will read your car N/C. Of course they want to sell you service afterwards.

Cheaper units only cost $50 or so.
