Our cruise-control seems to work intermittantly. Turning off the car, seems to reset everything.
The vehicle in question is a 1988 W124 300TE wagon, that has been swaped with a 1995 C36 engine. In order to make everything work, the Electronic Accelerator and ABS is from a 1995 W125 E320 wagon. We can "set" the cruise-control, accellerate/decellerate at will, and cruise control can be turned-off manually or by touch the brake. However, once turned-off, we cannot turn-on the cruise-control without restarting the car. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, :-) neil PS: there are no codes showing in the MB diagnostic module. |
