White smoke 560SEL..

1987 560SEL 100,000KM's or so. I checked my engine oil today and after three months or so of use in tropical climate my level was one litre low. I accidentally put one litre of Caltex Delo Gold [detergent oil designed for deisel engine] in it rechecked the level and was fine. I use the Delo Gold usually in another engine not this 560.

Well the problem is today in same use as always it will puff out a rather large amount of white smoke if I rev the engine from idle. the next couple revs no smoke. I let it idle a while and rev again same white smoke. The engine seems to be running smooth and no loss of power and temps stay between 80-85 degrees celcius.

Need help???? Is it just the litre of oil I put in or something more serious please please help.
Thanks,
David
