transmission question

hi.. i have a question my 1986 300e benz transmission is flaring from 2-3 bad going slow, but if i take of fast in first gear flooring it, it shifts fine anyone know what this could be thanks for the help.

Transmission Slips During 2-3 Upshift Or Slips Initially,
Then Grabs Hold
Check modulating pressure and adjust (if necessary). Check
for temperature throttle installation (if equipped). Valve body worn
or damaged. Replace valve body (if necessary). Replace inner plates of
clutch K-1 or recondition clutch (if necessary). Check front cover
Teflon ring.

The coordination of engine vacuum & modulator pressure is most likely the problem.

Possibly the wrong modulator is installed.

Thumbs up transmission problems

yes.. i think your right because when im driving before the gears change i can here some air comming from somewhere, im thinking its the vacuum hose to the modulator thanks for the help i ll let you know.
