Smile 95 320 e questions

Hi
I recently purchased a 95 320e ( yesterday) and I want to do some maintainance as a bonding experience between me and my new car. First off it came with no manuals or history.
1. what kind of oil should I use, brand and weight, oil filter?
2. cooling system needs to be flushed, brand of coolant?
3. type of transmission fluid?
4. Differential oil type and weight?
seeing as my nearest dealer is more than 50 miles away I am hoping to pick up these items in town, we have a auto zone, checker and wall mart.oh ya and bumper to bumper. I find I have better luck if I know what I am looking for rather than relying on them to tell me. Next week I hope to order an owners manual, but seeing as tomorrow looks to be about the only good weather day in the future, I was hoping to get started on a few of these things.

Thank you in advance

For oil I'd go Mobil 1 15W-50. You'll need every bit of 7 quarts. The filter is a paper element next to the sidewall and you'll need a special tool to remove it. I'd order them online--u can use the buy parts tab at the top of this page. Buy a few filters at the same time.

For coolant, you want the clear stuff Zerex G-05.

On the transmission fluid--you'll need a new filter, pan gasket, torque converter plug, drain plug gasket and somewhere near 8 quarts of Mercon/Dexron ATF fluid.

Enjoy!!

It's E320 or E-class, BTW. 320e sounds like some inferior marque's nomenclature.

Welcome. You just found a way to save thousands of dollars on MB parts (Fastlane, click above) & repair! Using my wife's logic ("I just saved FIFTY DOLLLARS by buying this on sale!") I have already "saved" enough to buy a 17" laptop, a chip for my Passat, etc.!

Congrats and good luck,
-Tom

Spaces in sig so as not to screw up the SEARCH; every time someone searches for that MB they don't want my sig!
