190e Coolant Leak

I have a 1993 190e Mercedes and it seems to be leaking coolant from an open hose down below the water pump on the passenger side. Once it gets hot, it pours out at a pretty substantial rate. I can't find anywhere else it is leaking or any other reason it is getting hot- anybody know what this hose is or how to stop it from pouring all the coolant out?
