hi guys i'm new on this forum and have just bought my first mecedes but was wondering if any of you coulf help me.


i have a 1998 merc clk 320 sport auto, other day i started the car(engine was cold) went down the down road and while i was waiting at the traffic lights, the engine just cut out and it really worried me as it struggled to turn back on again, and the thing is it only does it when you start it from cold, when the car is warmed up, its fine.

any help or clues would be very much appriciated.

could this be a fuse or a nakered fuel filter? but car only does it when you start it from cold???

whats the mileage on the car? how old is the battery?

when have the air-filter and fuel filter been changed?

do all the lights like Check Engine Light shine when you turn on the ignition?
