My blower motor IS TOAST. I went out and looked up in the assy and found the three screws that holds the blower in the assy. It would have dropped on my face if i hadn't read that it would just drop out, actually it was still sealed a bit. I brought out the assy and sit it on the coolant tank and attached ground to the ground side and power to the power side and it is TOAST! the commutator area where the brushes ride looks like the (black)Grand Canyon! and I think the brushes are GONE! Or at least not much left after 24 years. Commutator is so grooved up that i fear it will not clean up enough to work.

Ok new blower in my future.

I will try to R &R this one but at my lesiure.

Thanks to this website it is making these fixes much easier and i'm find that this car is actually pretty simple to work on once you figure it out.
