How to remove a light bulb? W124

Yes, I have heard it: It takes three guys: One to hold the chair, the other on the chair holding the light bulb, the third to rotate the chair. However: On my '95 W124 the light in the right hand air outlet in the dash is dark and I'd like to replace the bulb. How do I access that bulb? Thanks!

Hold onto the instrument panel with the remover hooks, and get several people to push the car forward so that it pulls itself free from the panel.

No wait, that's not how it goes. But in any case, the instrument panel is simply clipped into the dash. On my 210, I have to put the steering wheel all the way down and back to leave room to maneuver the panel to get to the back.

Hey Matt: Read it again: It's not the instrument panel, it's just the right hand vent outlet. The one with the adjustable vanes in it, where the cold air comes out: There's a small wheel that has a light in it

Of course, you are right. Sorry for the red herring.
