Tranny Swap

I'm having oil-leak problem. It appears motor oil leak from rear crank shaft seal and transmission. I'm thinking about swapping 722.369 w/ 95 C36 tranny since mine is already slipping in the morning. So, instead of spending money for changing seals/gaskets and repair the slip, I thought about changing whole tranny for now. And, later on, I'll swap M104 w/ C36 motor. Is this a good idea? Has someone ever done this?
