Guys,
My 300 SE was way too sluggish, I even posted a thread on it. Today I bought a spray can of Carbon Clean (Mopar brand which I had used on my Grand Cherokee before) and used it on the engine. It runs so much better with way better throttle response. These engines have a tendency for building Carbon.
Just wanted to share.

What did you spray it on? into the cylinders after removing the spark plugs?

Buy a can of Mopar decarbonizing fluid from any Chrysler/Jeep dealer ($7.95)

• Remove the air cleaner assembly
• Start the engine and while maintaining idle spray the content into the intake manifold (Adjust throttle to maintain idle at all times)
• Shut the engine down and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes.
• Restart and run at approx 2000 for 5 minutes or until tailpipe is clear of white exhaust.
• Take it out for a hard drive, but make sure you do not get a ticket.

Thanks for the instruction! your 300SE has the M103 or M104 engine? and does the treatment work for both engines?

Hi mrcman, with "into the intake manifold" do you mean into the throttle body under the air cleaner assembly, item #20 in the picture? which has a disk.
Do you spray under the disk?

Spray it on top of the disc it will all get sucked in. Man, that's a clean looking engine, is it your car's.
