Happiness is.....

Taking your car to Mr MB in Tarzana, Ca. and finding out in a few minutes that your beloved car indeed does have a DUAL Timing Chain. and, though in need of replacement due to stretch, that I don't have to convert to a dual chain/Sprocket setup. Enrique will change the timing chain, guides and tensioner, put new valve seals in, and do some other (annual Fluid/filter replacement and such) work. He will also do a complete inspection of the car, something I should have had done before I took possession. ( I didn't know about MR MB at that time).
It is such a relief to know that my car has had the dual timing chain. I have been worried since our GTG when Jim B and Dimetricalbenz thought that they could detect the worn chain sound at startup. I was concerned that it might give way at any time. WHEW!

The other up side is that MR MB is a 1/2 blk from the 154 Bus route stop and that bus goes to Burbank Metrolink stop and I can ride the bus and train down to pickup the car and use them for any other times Enrique has my car for more than a day. Life is good and the MB should be good engine wise for another 100,000 miles.

Got my car back today and I can report that happiness is a MB that does what it should. Price and work were terrific. What's more my car should be bullet proof for a year or more.
maintenance had not been done in a timely fashion. That is all changed now and the baseline is today. Enrique and crew did a very good job and the price was reasonable.

I'm a happy camper.
