Ron,
That happened to me last winter and what I did
is,I used the the valet key, instead of the master
key and it open and close all the doors exept the
trunk and glove box.I squirted WD40 on the affected door
and continued to use the said key. After about 3 wks.
I tried the master key and it works. It might work for you
too.

Both my keys won"t lock the driver side, but when I'm inside I can lock the door. What I did was lock the door thru the back of the driver side(first open the driver side back door then lock the driver's door so all 4 doors will lock centrally then close the back door)it's a temporary repair for a while.I don't know if I have a master key or what, how do I know?I bought this a couple of months ago. Thanks

If the key turns the lock cylinder but doesn't open the lock, then the linkage between the cylinder and the lock is broken. You will have to remove the door trim panel to access the lock mechanism and cylinder.

No matter what you fix, there will always be something else to fix..
"Warranty" is just another way of postponing the inevitable.
