Please Help Clk Is Killing Me

1999 CLK 430 I PURCHSED 2002 FROM NJ FLOOD DAMAGE CAR RAN AND OPERATED FINE FOR 5 MONTHS DOG ATE THE KEY ORDERED NEW KEYS VIA DEALER CAR WOULDN'T START BROUGHT CAR TO DEALER THEY WERE FOOLS. GAVE TO EXPERT MECHANIC 1YR AGO (CAR SITTING FOR 4YRS NOW AND $7000 LATER) PUT NEW COMPUTER BODY CONTROL IN CAR AS HIS REQUEST ALL MATCHED TO VIN CAR WONT START. SINCE DOG ATE THE CAR SIGNAL FROM KEY TO BRAINS IN CAR DONT WORK. I NEED HELP CAR IS IMOBILE AND REALLY STRESSING ME IF ANYBODY CAN HELP I WILL PAY WHATEVER MY STUPIDITY FOR BUYING THE CAR BUT I AM STUCK 5YRS LATER AND OVER 20K INTO IT. 44K MILES ON THE CAR MY MECHANIC SAYS NEXT STEP IS RIPPING OUT ENTIRE INTERIOR AND GOING THROUGH THE WIRING SYSTEM. $$$$$I HAVE BOUGHT FOUR KEYS TWO IGNITIONS COMPUTER AND BCU$$$$$ I LIVE IN SUFFOLK COUNTY LONG ISLAND MY NAME IS JOHN AND ANYONE THAT CAN HELP PLEASE MY PHONE NUMBER IS 631-373-5296 LV MESSAGE OR MAIL ME. THE CAR DID WORK PRIOR TO DOG DESTROYING ORIGINAL KEY IN 2002 WEIRD?????

If the key the dog ate worked, what did you do with it when the dog sh!it it out?

I will dissect the dog to retrieve the original key if the key was never found.

I'd like to help you but something doesn't smell right here. Is the "expert mechanic" qualified to work on the MB Drive Authorization System on your car? It's not all that complicated as long as you understand it. The ignition switch, steering column lock, and the engine control module are "married" to each other. If any one is replaced, it's not as simple as plug and play! Also, why do you say the dealer techs' were fools? Just curious.
