coolant temperature sensor
Hello all,
First post for me but a long time observer of this knowledgeable forum. Recently changed over the CTS in my '89 260e in the hope that my warm/hot start issues would be alleviated but it seems, to no avail. Between 50C and 90C it's pot luck as to whether it will start or not. However, if I pull the terminals on the CTS in this temperature range it will start. Your thoughts would be appreciated.. |

By disconnecting that sensor the fuel system goes FULL rich. Your engine MUST be starving for fuel when warm.
Most likely a fuel pressure bleed-off problem. try searching for topics with that as a problem.
