P2312: C230 Mercedes Benz: Need help !! - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

I have a C230 4 door sedan 2002 model: The engine light is on.

The code I got is P2312: CAN communication with the traction is faulty or implausible etc...

CAN ANYONE translate this for me and advise what It could be so that I can fix it.

The fault code simply means that the Traction control module stopped transmitting information on the CAN data bus. Are any warning lights on? Are you having any drivability problems? Is the fault code current, or stored? More information would be helpful.

Secondly: the car is rnning perfectly ok and only the engine light is on.
