W210 cloth seat covers

My driver's seat is filthy, so this weekend I want to remove it and wash the cover. It will also give me a chance to clean up the carpet underneath and grease the rails.

Anyone know how easy it is to remove said covers? Any issues with unplugging the seat? They're not powered or heated, just the seatbelt pre-tensioner I think (or airbag sensor)

I also have an annoying creak whenever I accelerate from rest, its the seat back rotating backward slightly. Common fault?

Thanks for posting the pics of your seat removal.

Not many cloth seats are to be had in the US but I prefer to use a "dry foam" type cleaner for fabrics applying with a soft brush. My favorite is the turbo shampoo which can be found an Aerus (Electrolux) store.

As far as the creaking W210 seats it is a common problem:
