Lubricating 126 blower motor

The blower motor in my SE has been chirping for years now during the winter.

Can someone explain how to R&R the motor so I can put some ATF on it to quite it down?

Thanks.

It's on the passenger side, under the glove compartment. Remove the carpeted knee bolster (screws) then the plastic cover underneath; then under (well, actually above) that you will see the black plastic blower housing and it should be obvious how to remove it.
I threw away a good motor from my car, thinking the bearings were stiff; the new one was just as stiff, and the price was a little stiff also, as I recall.

Because this is something you probably don't want to do every 10K miles, I would recommend a graphite penetrating oil for lubing the bearing. This is the same stuff used for lubing speedometer heads specifically because it resists moisture & dirt buildup. NAPA carries it.
