2000 e320 Lights on climate control panel

The backlight on the control panel is out. Any suggestions? Might this be a fuse, a bulb, a LED? How do I access it to assess repair? Thanks.

I believe this is just a bulb. You need the "radio keys" which slip in to the slots on the lower corners and allow you to pull the climate control panel out of the dash. Might end up needing a trip to the dealer or Fast, lane to get the bulb. But at least it's a replaceable part!

Same thing happened on my 98 E320. My indie charged me $5 and it took 10 minutes to replace the bulb.
