W124 shocks? (comparison)

I am on the market for new shocks for my 87 260e because the ride is so bumpy these days. Anyway, aside from the expensive Bilstein how do the others compare.

I have a choice of going with KYB or Monroe. Do you know of these two brands? which one would you choose if given the choice between KYB or Monroe

I have KYB on my car and they seem to ride nicely - never used the other two brands though and the KYBs came on the car when I bought it.

I have the Ebay KYB's for $234 shipped, and I am happy enough with them.
