Head Retorquing

Last week I adjusted the valves on my M110 engine. And I am happy to report that with 206K on the clock, the timing is just 2 degrees off! (This is w/no oil pressure in the chain tensioner).

I retorqued the head & cam-carriage bolts before the valve adjustment this time and I got to wondering: Would it not be a good idea to retorque the head & cam-carriage before EACH valve adjustment?
