No. Cut the bolt head off and put the bolt in 'upside down.'

Also, sometimes you may be able to wiggle the bolt out with the bushings loose, to save you some cutting. Then put the bolt in upside down!

agreed... we cut the head of the bolt off with a roto-zip.... then put the bolt in upside down.. we couldn't even come close to getting the bolt out on a 300e 3.0

I got mine with the help of an angle grinder. Nothing like brute force.

I rigged a cam strap to hold the bolt up, then had a buddy prevent it from twisting by use of two vice grips.

I have to admit I was very nervous about this one, but it worked out well. Don't forget to cover all your skin.

I was able to get my bolt out by unbolting the right engine mount top bolt and loosening the left mount, lifting the right side of the engine under the pan a couple inches, and then tilting the bolt out with the bushing.

that's a good idea.... probably should loosen the top radiator hose at the radiator..so that neck doesn't get too much stress.
