What is high milegage for M112 engine?

Just curious, I have an E420 with 145kmi and the engine runs like new. I know the M119 is very durable.
Are M112 (particularly in V8 config) also expected to go forever.... i.e. over 250kmi without falling apart.

425K+ miles

M.B.DOC:

Given that this engine has 425K+ miles on it, do you have any idea what kind of oil change regimen this owner used? Did he follow FSS? If not, how often was oil changed? Was synthetic oil used for oil changes?

I am sure there must have been a lot of highway miles driven given this kind of mileage, which reduced the number of cold starts and wear on the engine, but I am just curious since I own a 2000 ML 320 and a 2002 E320 4MATIC both with this engine.

I would be shocked if any modern engine wouldn't reach 250k-300k regardless of the make. You just have to change the oil and drive enough to rack up those miles. Usualy people don't keep there cars long enough to see any real mileage, or take care of them...
