no interior lights
hi.. i have a 86 300e and i cant get my interior lights to work or dimmer light anyone know what fuse do i check for first thank you for the help.

Try these fuses
#3,5, or 9. Actually, just open the fuse box and look. You'll be able to see at a glance if any of the fuses have blown. Those fuses are all 8 amp. I didn't have any interior lights as well and it turned out that the PO had installed an incorrect turn signal bulb that kept burning out the fuse. Once I replaced the bulb with a correct one, I had lights!!! Good luck!

If you were doing something electrical...
and the fuses are not blown. Starting with year 87 (I think) there is a fuse behind the cluster that looks like a red light bulb that can cause that...Your being a 86 like mine, there is no sucha thing. I have to take mine to be repaired. Hopefully, it is an external fuse.
