Heated seats

Does anyone know if heated seats were ever offered with MB-TEX interior.
I am thinking about putting the heater elements from a 126 (ragged seats) into my 124 with MB-TEX seats. Will the MB-TEX melt or discolor? I have only seen heated seats and lether.

Just curious,,, are the 124's all prewired for the seats, and are you going to use the factory switches in the console ?

I don't really know if they are all prewired. If so, I will use it but if not I will build my own harnesses. I don't know what I will use for switches. I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I have the complete 126 car to get parts out of so I have everything I need. This parts car has body rust (came from NY) but is the BEST $200 I have ever spent.
