300 SE Residual Engine heat utilization

My REST Remains On All The Time And Won't Go Off Until The Battery In Drained. WHAT IS CAUSING THIS? HOW DO I RESOLVE IT? IS This On A Separate Fuse Circuit?

Programming issue in the A/C controller. MB issued bulletin back in 1994.

Replacing the controller is the only fix.

I guess you could switch the power supply & eliminate the system UNLESS you live in a HOT climate.

The SI was number MBNA 83/48 dated April 1993. Can e-mail you a copy if you want it!

You've probably already removed the positive cable from the battery and checked for a short to ground, I'm guessing?

Thank M.b. Doc. I Am A Retired Guy I Don't Have $1,100.00 In The Middle Of The Month To Replace The A/c Controller. I Am Using The Following Work Around. When I Park My Car For The Night I Take Out Fuse # 18 That Stops The Electrical Drain. I Put The Fuse Back In When I Drive.
